House Purchase
Each participant is allowed to purchase residential houses valued at more than RM250,000.00 each, depending on the location.
Car Purchase
Each participant is allowed to bring in his/her own personal car OR purchase a locally-assembled car without the need to pay import duty, excise duty and sales tax. (Note: ‘Personal car’ is referred to a car which was purchased by participant before joining the MM2H programme.)
Domestic Helper
Each participant is allowed to bring in one domestic helper. The maid should come from a country which has been approved by the government.
Tax
Tax exemption is given to pension remitted to Malaysia.
Freedom to travel
There is no minimum stay requirement. You are free to enter and leave the country anytime.
Parent’s Special Visa
Your parents who are over 60 years old can come to live with you in Malaysia under a special 6 month social visit visa renewable as long as your MM2H visa is valid.
